Happy Belated Birthday, my dear sweet friend. So glad your day was as wonderful as you. Although, no matter how wonderful, it would never even come close to the amount of wonderful you have in you! :-) I love you, girlie. (did you catch all those "wonderful"s? lol A little subliminal stuff there. :-) ) All day you'll be telling yourself, for no apparent reason and out of the blue, "I am wonderful". :-)

Happy birthday and happy belated mother's day, too. Sorry about your tree, but Bradford Pears aren't known for their hardiness. Shallow root system and brittle wood. They're beautiful in bloom, though, and a wonderful shape. They have newer, hardier pear trees that have the same shape but are more sturdy.
