Well, Sorta
Looking back at yesterday's list, I sort of got some of those things done. Other things have been put off until today. There's only so much time in any given day.
So, today I plan to:
*finish up any stray laundry
*clean the bathrooms
*make meatloaf for supper
*work on the quilt
*download a new kit from Christy
*make a layout or two with that new kit
I'd still like to get out to do some shopping, but I fear that's going to have to wait until tomorrow.
I did manage to get to my meeting last night (only 15 minutes late). Because I was running late, I didn't get to taste the Slow-Cooked Lemon Chicken. But, Edison and Mark said it was good. The last piece will turn into chicken salad for me this afternoon. Yum.
I also managed to try a new recipe for bread yesterday. It was Sunflower Oat Bread. It is very, very good. It's more "rustic" as it doesn't bake in a pan. . . just in round loaves. Edison and Mark really liked it. I had some last night, after my meeting, and had a piece of toast with light cheese for breakfast this morning. YUM!
I have no idea how many WW points a slice of this bread is, but between the sunflower seeds, oatmeal, and whole wheat flour, it's bound to have some fiber in it. Fiber seems to be key in ratcheting down WW points. It really is good bread. Fairly easy to make, too. I'll be making it again. . .real soon!
So, that's it. It's Friday. My CM consultant is hosting a crop at her house tonight. I don't know if I have it in me to go to a crop. We have been so busy this week. Next week is going to be just as crazy. If I don't go to a crop I will probably "host" one here. I've still got lots of pictures to catch up on. And, now I'm looking at the possibility of making an album for a family member for Christmas.
Yikes--when will I learn?!?!

Mmmm homemade bread...yummy. Meatloaf...mmm...our favourite...Pity about the lemon chicken. Give us the recipe anyway! (Please!) I am longing to make your killer potato salad, but I don't have a source of Miracle Whip at the moment. Could I use low-fat mayo? I don't want you to hunt me down.... Have a good week. I shall miss you. x
